Blast furnace Cement III/B 42.5 N-LH/SR
Description
Cement III/B 42.5 N-LH/SR is a blast furnace cement with a 42.5 resistance class with standard early resistance, low hydration heat and sulphate resistance conforming to UNI EN 197-1. In addition this cement has a high sulphate resistance (HSR) conforming to UNI 9156.
Composition
Cement III/B 42.5 N-LH/SR is composed of a percentage of clinker between 20 and 34%, a percentage of blast furnace slag between 66 and 80% and a maximum of 5% secondary components.
These percentages do not take into account the addition of calcium sulfate and of additives.
Conformity
The cement conforms to UNI EN 197-1, UNI 11834 for IAS certification and 305/2011/UE (CPR) guidelines.
Blast furnace Cement
TYPE III/B 42,5 N-LH/SR

The high mechanical strength combined with resistance to chemical attack derived from sulphates and a limited hydration heat make it ideal for:
Concrete in chemically aggressive environments in classes XD1, XD2, XD3, XS1, XS2, XS3, XA1, XA2, XA3
Reinforced concrete both above- and in-ground with high final strengths
Concrete for sewage works
Concrete for large-volume placements
CAM compliant concretes
