Cementerie Aldo Barbetti S.p.A. with registered office in Corso Garibaldi 81, 06024 – Gubbio (PG), The Data Controller protects your personal data by ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable data protection laws, and by implementing appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

This Cookie Policy (hereinafter “Policy”) provides information on how this website uses cookies.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND HOW ARE THEY USED?

A ‘cookie’ is a text file created by a website on the user’s computer when they access the site, with the purpose of storing and transporting information.

Cookies are sent from a web server to the user’s browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the user’s computer. They are then sent back to the website on subsequent visits.

Many of the operations that are normally carried out on a website could not be performed without the help of cookies, which in these cases are necessary. These cookies are referred to as technical or functional cookies. These cookies are used for various purposes, including user identification, session management, and storing information about how users interact with the website. When accessing this website, the user also receives cookies from third-party websites or web servers, so-called ‘third-party cookies’.

Cookies are also used to enhance user experience and enable specific website features requested.

There are several types of cookies, each serving a different purpose. These cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for varying lengths of time:

  • session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser;
  • persistent cookies remain or may remain on your device until their pre-set expiration date.

Cookies can therefore remain in the system for extended periods of time and may also contain a unique identifier. This allows websites that use them to track your browsing behaviour within the site, for both statistical and advertising purposes, and to create a personalized profile based on the pages you have visited, and to show you and/or send you targeted advertising (known as behavioural advertising).

Under current data protection laws, your consent is not always required for the use of cookies.

For example, “technical cookies”, which are essential for the operation of this website or necessary to perform activities you have requested, can be used without your consent.

On the other hand, “profiling cookies”, which are used to create user profiles and send messages in line with the preferences expressed by users during their browsing, require explicit consent.

This website uses the following cookie types:

  • Technical cookies: they include both session cookies and browsing cookies, which are strictly necessary for the operation of the website and/or that allow you to use the content and services of the website;
  • Functionality cookies: these are used to activate certain website features and to configure the site according to your choices (e.g., the language you have selected) in order to improve your browsing experience;
  • Analytic cookies: these allow us to understand how users navigate the website and to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic;
  • Profiling cookies: these cookies are used to observe your preferences, as revealed by your use of this website, and consequently, to send you promotional material in line with those preferences.

This website also uses third-party cookies: these cookies, sent by websites/web servers other than this website, are used for the specific purposes of the third-party owners of the websites/web servers (including profiling purposes). An example of these are cookies released by social networks through the so-called social buttons that allow you to interact with social networks such as LinkedIn (for details, see the ‘social buttons’ section of this document).

These third parties are considered independent Data Controllers with regard to their own cookies; Cementerie Aldo Barbetti S.p.A. cannot control or verify the use that third parties make of these cookies, nor ascertain the specific characteristics or purposes of such cookies. For any information on how your data is processed by these third parties, you can refer to their respective privacy policies or other material published by the third parties themselves.

COOKIES USED AND THEIR PURPOSE

The Data Controller provides below a table specifying the categories of cookies present on the website and their purposes.

THIRD PARTY COOKIES

Social buttons

This website features buttons, referred to as ‘social widgets/buttons’, which display the icons of various social networks.

These widgets allow site users, who are browsing this website, to access their preferred social networks with a single click. In these cases, the social network and web services acquire user data, whereas Cementerie Aldo Barbetti S.p.A. does not share any user navigation data or personal information collected through its website with the social networks and web services accessible through these tools.

These buttons are disabled by default, meaning they do not send data to the respective social networks without your consent.

Simply press the buttons to activate them. Upon activation, a direct link is created to the relevant social media platform’s server. The content associated with the button is then transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and linked to the web page by the latter.

For details on the purpose and scope of the collection, processing and use of personal data by social networks and third-party websites, which are beyond the control of Cementerie Aldo Barbetti S.p.A., please refer to the privacy policies of these platforms.

Below you will find the links to the privacy policies of the social networks to which the buttons on this site refer:
